Taraxa AS is a Norwegian materials science company founded in 2023. Our mission is to eliminate microplastics and petroleum-based rubber through scalable, plant-based alternatives. We are developing sustainable solutions for sports and beyond—replacing harmful materials with natural materials like plant-based rubber and plastics. We are dedicated to driving change and we are always looking to improve, like using an even more sustainable source of natural rubber – the rubber dandelion (Taraxacum kok-saghyz, or TKS).
